How It Works
High level, it’s simple. You have a newsletter that’s successful and growing, but your website either doesn’t exist or isn’t really serving you. PeakZebra gives you website hub that doesn’t add to your cognitive or maintenance work overhead.
It’s based on a WordPress stack, but you’re spared the WordPress learning curve. You never have enter the dreaded “backend admin” interface of WordPress.
How you’ll manage and customize your site
Front-end configuration
As an admin, you have access to front-end pages where we expose the controls you need and spare you the things you will very likely never need to see.
In-Place editing
When logged in with admin rights, you’ll notice that text items (headers, paragraphs) have a dotted line around them. Click on them and edit them in the window that pops up. Same goes for images.
You won’t find this on generic WordPress hosting services, by the way. It’s unique to PeakZebra.
Done-for-you requests
Not everything lends itself to in-place editing. For those needs, just ask us. We ask that you stay within the basic confines of our architecture and overarching design, but within those (useful, focusing) constraints, your requests get handled sequentially and you can make as many requests as you like.

Analytics is just one of the “normally admin backend” tools we present to you as an admin, up on the front end.
Google Adwords
Other newsletter-first providers (well, Beehiiv) have an internal ad network. From within your PeakZebra site, you can manage the “big daddy” ad network. We’re happy to get you set up.
On-site Revenue Streams
We strongly believe revenue streams should be added one at a time so that focus doesn’t get divided and squandered. But as you’re adding a new resource, consider that you’ve got options you can add and manage from within your site. Start with paid (or free) memberships, or start with booking paid interactions, and move on from there.
One more thing about patterns
The section above with the six boxes is exactly that–a pattern. There are presently about 220 patterns you can ask us to insert for you. More all the time. And you can ask us to customize any pattern for your text and images. Or you can edit those things on the “front end” of the site in place, without using the back-end block editor.
